Our Story
We started out reselling clothes online in our spare time and gained an appreciation for the second-hand clothing market. Giving each item a second chance at life; gave us a passion for seeking out quality items to share. Understanding the amount of waste the fashion industry is responsible for, we aspired to make a community of sustainability enthusiasts to help minimize the waste problem. We strive to bring together the people who continually choose revival over replacement.
Our Impact
Consumerism and consumption are at an all-time high. The fast fashion industry alone made over 162 billion dollars in 2025, while also producing over 92 million tons of waste. We want to combat those numbers. We aim to provide a space where second-hand is the norm, and where quality items are accessible and affordable. One item purchased at Kins Closet is one less item produced, giving quality pieces a second chance at life ,while keeping them out of our landfills and oceans, and keeping them in circulation longer.
